I played a little myself, back in the day. When I was in 6th grade we had the best neighborhood team in town. I played at school in 7th and 8th grades, on the “under 100 lbs” squad. Came out of it with a knee that didn’t keep me out of the Marines, but is giving me some trouble now, about 55 years later! In 9th grade I discovered cars and night life…you know the rest.
